There is no time like fall in New England. The leaves change to beautiful hues of yellow, red and orange, the air is crisp and hundreds of pre’63 Hot Rods & Customs converge upon the Elks Pavilion in small town of South Glastonbury, CT.

For the past 14 years the show continues to grow. This year’s car count boosted 748 of some of New England’s best traditional cars, trucks and early motorcycles. Entertainment was provided by DJ Jess along with live music from Zak Slik, Diablogato & Screamin Rebel Angels. Vendor spots line the outside perimeter of the field with plenty of hard to find and rare parts

This year’s show paid special homage to the Road Agents Car Club. For those non familiar the Road Agents put on one of the best known Hot Rod events on the East Coast if not the whole country from the late 90’s to the early 2000’s The Rockabilly Rumble. The founding proprietors of the Fall Out, Matt Firestone and Charlie “One Arm Bandit” Decker claim heavy influence from the Road Agents and their notorious shows. Stephen Peters would later fall right into the show’s operations manager position. Thus insuring, along with a great staff a seamless event every October.

Next years Hot Rod Fall Out celebrates 15 years of the event and takes place Oct 10 2020 at the Elks Pavilion 98 Woodland Street, South Glastonbury, CT 06073. Hotrodfallout.com for more info or follow them on Instagram @hotrod_fallout
